uScan (work in progress)

A little scanner for your ubports device

This app turns your ubports device into a small scanner. You can simply take a picture of a document that you want to scan, and you can then crop the border out.

If you don’t want to install the app, there is also an online version.

Dependencies

To install elm and uglifyjs, we recommend that you use nvm.

elm

You’ll need elm in order to be able to build this app.

You can install elm with

npm install -g elm

uglifyjs

You’ll need uglifyjs to build the release version.

You can install it with

npm install -g uglify-js

Build

Debug

Once all the dependencies are installed, you can simply run

make

to build the debug version

Release

To build the release version, you need to run

make release

and then, edit the www/index.html to make it use the .min.js versions of the javascript files.
